(1) In addition to love, there are responsibilities involved in a marriage. Both the personal and societal responsibilities bonded by a marriage are legal. There are different aspects of pros and cons on the marriage responsibilities. Overall, responsibilities are beneficial to both parties unless one party is extremely rich. (3) We know that we are constantly surrounded by our closest environment --- the air. I remember I learnt long time ago that the air was composed of approximately 21% of oxygen molecules (O-O) and 78% of nitrogen molecules (N-N). I guess we all learnt the same facts even though, most likely, we went to schools all at different times. The fractions of oxygen and nitrogen gases in the atmosphere remain the same! Why? That is because two identical atoms are CHEMICALLY BONDED together as denoted above by a hyphen between the two atoms. As a result, these two substances become chemically stable and their fractions in the atmosphere hardly change. This is very similar to what I described above/before that “there are responsibilities involved in a marriage. Both the personal and societal responsibilities bonded by a marriage are legal.” Therefore, when two people who have the same view toward life form a couple LEGALLY BONDED by their responsibilities, it becomes a stable family. (4) Next, with oxygen and nitrogen, one may also form a different molecule: N-O (nitric oxide). This substance is not as stable as O-O or N-N so we can hardly see it naturally. Why? This is because O and N have different views on life so the bond (i.e., the hyphen between N and O), though it is legal, can be broken easily. (5) We probably also heard people often saying about marriage that “大多数的人终究不能免俗”. This means that most people will get married regardless what their views toward life. In other words, the individual atoms are the least stable. |
