亚洲小孩，尤其是华人小孩多品学兼优。学校不少老师也因此多喜欢华人小孩。学校白人小孩中表现好一点的也喜欢同华人小孩交朋友。不是老有人说美国小孩数学不行对于知识把握不够扎实吗？I once wrote the following commentary on this issue:

This has been steadily changing in the last 20 years or so as the percentage of American born Asians increases. Asian culture is affecting American society in a clearly visible (and, in my opinion, also positive) way. The overall academic scores are steadily improving and many more Americans now like Chinese food.

Currently, more than 28% of freshman students admitted to MIT are Asian Americans who usually have a solid background.

This commentary was written five years ago. I believe it is getting better, i.e., Asian culture, which includes a good family value of providing best children education, is having a bigger impact on American society.
